From Liz Manterfield nee Jones
Mary Jane Evenden born1860 was my gt grandmother. She was born in East Farleigh in Kent, and changed her name to Mary Eugenie and then to just Eugenie. I never knew her but she lived with my grandparents and father when he was a boy, and he knew her quite well. A rather formidable lady I believe.
